🌟What it feels like on a strict meal plan

📘 Meal plans can be a great way to get clients hurtling towards their goals. As a personal trainer the most frustrating part is trying to get people to eat according to their goals and adhere to their calorie targets. Meal plans offer that solution providing they stick to that plan.
.
🤷🏼‍♂️ HOWEVER - Big however. Meal plans teach clients very little and offer very little sustainability. The chances of someone sticking to a strict meal plan long term is very slim.
.
😴 Chances are the client is going to get bored as hell eating the same old foods week to week as they tend to offer very little flexibility.
.
😁 If you want long term success then the client is probably going to need to figure out this dieting malarky themselves.
.
📲That means getting the hang of tracking calories and becoming familiar with the calories and macronutrient breakdown of different foods.
.
😑 Trial and error and perseverance! Very few people figure it out straight away. But once you get the hang of it you really are setting yourself up for long term success.
.
👧🏼 So don’t end up like this poor little girl in the video, throw the meal plans in the bin and figure it out eating foods that you enjoy whilst adhering to your calorie targets.
